Board Member
Andy has almost 30 years in local government and public safety experience serving as a firefighter at Champaign fire department, the elected Township Supervisor in the City of Champaign, and now as the appointed Chief Administrative Officer at the Village of Savoy. In addition, Andy is an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois at Springfield in the Public Administration program.
In addition to the United Way where Andy is serving for a second time, Andy serves on the Board of the Champaign Firefighters Benevolent fund and has previously served as a Board member with Champaign County CASA as well as the United Way Board of Champaign County where he ended his previous service as Board Chair in 2020.
Andy has a Master of Public Administration from the University of Illinois at Springfield and is a graduate of Parkland College and Southern New Hampshire.
