Angie Salas is the Vice President and General Manager for Nexstar Media Group's broadcast and digital operations serving Champaign and Springfield, overseeing WCIA-TV (CBS), WCIX-TV (My Network), and associated digital platforms. She is an accomplished media executive with more than a decade of leadership experience driving revenue growth, modernizing sales organizations, and expanding local and digital content across multiple markets, including Indianapolis and the Quad Cities. Angie is recognized for her strategic data-driven leadership, commitment to community engagement, and development of high-performing teams.
Angie earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She and her husband, Tony, have 4 children and they live in Mahomet.
