Geri Melchiorre is the Senior Assistant Vice President of Investments for the University of Illinois System. She oversees investment of the system’s $1.2 billion Long-Term Investment Pool and $4 billion Operating Pool, alongside the Risk Management and Agricultural Property Services offices. She joined the University System’s investment team in 2012. Previously, Ms. Melchiorre spent four years at Northern Trust Asset Management focusing on operational and investment risk management and two years at Protiviti Consulting with a focus on the banking industry. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in finance and speech communication. Ms. Melchiorre is a CFA Charterholder.
