Shawna Benton, CPA is Chief Financial Officer of Armory Capital LLC, a family investment firm based in Champaign, Illinois. She is a seasoned financial and tax executive with experience in finance, compliance, and governance. Shawna brings knowledge in financial stewardship, risk management, and strategic oversight, developed through senior leadership roles including Tax Director in public accounting and current CFO role.
Shawna is deeply committed to community service and nonprofit leadership. She is an active member of the United Way community through Women United, participated in the I Counts initiative, and other local volunteer efforts. She currently serves on multiple nonprofit boards, including President of Champaign West Rotary Club and member of the DMBGC Foundation Board.
Additionally, Shawna has held numerous leadership roles with the Eastern Illinois Estate Planning Council, including Past President, and serves on finance committees supporting local faith‑based and community organizations.
She holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana‑Champaign and is a Certified Public Accountant.
