What's your "why" for giving to United Way?
I donate time and resources to the United Way campaign because it is a quick and easy way to support the growing needs of my community. The United Way identifies targeted needs and uses donation dollars to put solutions in place for those in need. When I see these plans in action and community members receiving resources and support, I know that I am a contributor and it feels great to know that I am helping others!

Change Starts With You!
People want to help power change in their community. At United Way, we have seen it over and over as we work to mobilize resources across our region to provide support, build community, and help solve tough problems.
This approach makes a difference for individual people and creates long-lasting community change.
United Way is committed to helping people because:
- Everyone deserves the chance to recover from a setback, rebuild a stronger life and reimagine what’s possible for the future.
- When one person can move from surviving to thriving, they are more capable of helping their children and the next generation do the same.
- Our community is a collection of all of us. The stronger and more supported all of us are, the more our community can flourish.
Last year almost 1,000 Carle employees joined United Way in our work. Few know the struggles of our neighbors better than you – that’s why you step up to support our work to find solutions to tough community problems.
